Here are some of the workshops/community engaged arts programs which I am currently still offering.
I have worked in community arts facilitation for over 6 years and have a Masters Accreditation in Art Therapy (MIECAT).
This can include but is not limited to:
-Community engaged Mural Design Workshops,
-Community approved mural design and execution
-Community-engaged mural painting.
Sofia has facilitated community murals for Milparinka /SEED garden club, Muslim Women's Association, Glen Katherine Primary School, Ceres Joe's Market Garden and WOS festival.
Paint making workshops
This can include:
-Learning about plants and pigments
-Practicing ethical foraging
-Making paint and paintings
-Taking home paint
Workshops have been run at FCAC, CEREs Environment Park, SOUP festival and CEREs Joe's Market Garden
Nature Journalling Workshop
- Intro to drawing/watercolour paiting
- Basic Nature Journaling excercises
- Excercises in empathy with the natural world
- Collaborative play
Workshops/programs have been run for City of Melbourne, the School of Untourism, NECCHi, SKINK, Little Red Tree House and for private commissions.
